Director Food Quality, Safety and Regulatory Affairs

Description: This position is a director role that involves a strategic approach and direction in the area of Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs.
Must have the following:
1. BS/BA degree in Food Science, MS strong must Advanced degree in Microbiology highly desired.
2. 10 years minimum quality assurance, operations and regulatory affairs responsibility. Minimum 5 years quality assurance.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in area of food safety, microbiology and toxicology.
4. Knowledge and experience in areas of hazard analysis, risk assessments, and system/process applications.
5. Leaderships skills with ability to hire and motivate.
6.Strong knowledge and experience in areas of CFR, FDA and USDA and HAACP.
7. Extensive contacts with Regulatory and Trade associations local and national level.
8. Strong organizational skills, problem solver
