Janavi Kumar is an Innovation Manager focused on Future Capability Development for New Product Development and Sensory and Consumer Research at General Mills. In her role, she spearheads experimentation with new technologies to enhance decision-making. Prior to that she has held positions in the Product Guidance and Insights group. She currently also holds a position as Scientific Committee Chair for the 2024-2026 Society of Sensory Professionals Executive Committee. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Genetics from Iowa State University and an M.S. in Food Science, emphasizing Sensory Analysis and Consumer Behavior, from Kansas State University.
Morgan Whitecotton
Innovation Coach
General Mills
Morgan Whitecotton is an Innovation Coach in Global Product Development at General Mills, where she leads established brand teams through agile, consumer-first innovation sprints to test and refine breakthrough ideas in new product development. With a B.S. in Food Science from The Ohio State University and five years in Research & Development at General Mills, Morgan combines scientific approaches with new, forward-thinking strategies. She also holds the 2023-2025 position of Committee Chair for the New Professionals Committee of Minnesota IFT.
